Whatnot's new tiered fees
Since September 21, 2026, Whatnot's commission depends on your category and your total sales over a rolling 28-day period. Most sellers are in the Standard tier: 8% of the item price (4% for coins). Commission isn't charged on shipping or tax.
On top of commission, Whatnot charges payment processing of 2.9% + $0.30 on the full order including shipping and tax. Older guides that mention "8% with no fee over $1,500" are out of date.
